Emília Braga | The Playful Expert


Affectionately known as 'Mila da Praia', Emília Braga brings a unique blend of expertise and playfulness to her role as our fish buyer. Her day begins at the fish market, where her keen eye and years of experience guide her in selecting the finest sardines, but her talent doesn't stop there. Emília is not just a buyer; she’s deeply involved in every step, from cutting and packing to wrapping the sardines at our factory. Her pride in her work and the joy she brings to her role reflect the welcoming spirit of Conservas Pinhais.

Rafael Machado | The Passionate Craftsman

 

Rafael Machado began his journey at Conservas Pinhais as a stocker's assistant and has never looked back.

Today, as the Infrastructure and Manufacturing Manager, Rafael’s attention to quality is evident in every aspect of his work. He believes that the true essence of NURI lies in the craftsmanship and dedication to detail that goes into each can. One of Rafael’s favorite NURI products is the sardine in spicy tomato sauce – which he recommends for the vibrant flavors’ lovers to try! His story is one of growth, passion, and an unwavering commitment to the artisanal methods that set NURI apart.

 

Manuela Macieira | The Detail-Oriented Operator

 

Manuela Macieira joined Pinhais in 2018 and has since become a cornerstone of our team. Starting in the canning support area, she has worked across various sectors, including fish cutting, before becoming a Warehouse Operator.

Manuela’s role is critical in ensuring that our products are stored and delivered in pristine condition. Her journey through different roles at Conservas Pinhais highlights the diverse skills and deep knowledge that our team members bring to their work every day.

 

Luzia Braga | The Culinary Artist

 

As soon as you enter Pinhais’ house, you’ll hear about Luzia; our fish canning preparer is celebrated not only for her role but also for her exceptional cooking skills.! Known for her famous sardine rice, Luzia has perfected her recipes by observing and learning from seasoned artisans.
