Pickled Egg Tartine
- Whole wheat rolls split
- Braised Beets
- 6 eggs
- 3 tbsp white vinegar
- Canned or Roasted Beets
- Parsley, basil, dill (what’s on hand)
- NURI Sardines in Olive Oil
Boil the eggs to the desired temperature and peel them. Keep them in the refrigerator with the white vinegar, the juice from the beets, the beets and water to cover.
Toast the whole wheat rolls, spread each half with a thick layer of Mayonaisse, or if you prefer, Garlic Aioli. Slice the canned beats and arrange on top with filets of Nuri Sardines. Slice the egg and place on top. Decorate with fresh herbs like parsley, basil and dill.
